Calling all florists - JOIN US for the 2023 SAF petal it forward event. It is a great opportunity to spread kindness throughout the community and hand out free flowers! You hand out two bouquets and the recipient gets to keep one and give away one. “petaling” it forward! Tuesday between 7-9 am we will be at the very end of the flower market putting together bouquets, we’ll have donuts and coffee, come by to help out or say hello! Then on Wednesday we will have several locations if you want to meet up to distribute flowers. On November 3-19, 2023, Lan Su Chinese Garden and the Floral Design Institute will
host the Chrysanthemum Festival Floral Design Showcase. Open to all emerging floral designers and artists, the Floral Design Showcase is a juried floral show with each entry including chrysanthemums as a part of the display. Designs must also include lighting so they can glow during our 3-day nighttime event, Night of the Golden Flowers.

All entries must be received by 5:00 p.m., Saturday Sept 30, 2023.
A designer may submit more than one entry for consideration. However, only one design may
be selected for exhibition. Spaces are limited to 15 participants, so send in your completed application now! Contact us if you need an application!
